About this notice

Attuni provides browser-based speech recognition, translation and optional spoken translation. Contact the service through Telegram with privacy questions. The operator’s legal identity and contact details must be confirmed before this notice is finalized.

Information processed

Depending on how you use Attuni, information may include account and room details, speaker names and settings, audio submitted by speakers, recognized speech, translations, session history, usage and technical information, and messages sent to us.

How information is used and shared

Information is used to provide and operate rooms, recognize speech, translate and synthesize audio, maintain accounts, support users and understand service performance. Audio and text are sent to service providers as needed for these functions. The current pipeline uses Soniox for speech recognition, DeepL for translation and Inworld for speech synthesis; configurations can change. Hosting and other service providers may also process information.

Room organizers control invitations and may make session content available to listeners. Final recognized text and translations are saved for history and may be exported by the room owner. Anyone with access to a room or an export may retain or share its contents.

Retention and security

Raw analytics details are retained for 30 days after completion; anonymized daily aggregates remain. Other retention periods, backup practices and deletion procedures still need confirmation. Please discuss sensitive information with us before using the service. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can decline microphone permission or stop sharing audio. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion, object to or restrict processing, and complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to make a request; applicable exceptions and verification may apply.
